An odd-eyed cat is a cat that has one blue eye and then one eye either yellow, green, or brown. This is called feline complete heterochromia, and it can be found in white cats. The cause is when an epistatic white gene prevents melanin from reaching one eye. Today we had four 7-week-old Persian kittens visit us at the hospital. Two were pure white, one was cream, and the other gray. The staff has a blast passing the cuties around, as each one was equally as friendly as their counterpart. Take a look! They were extremely photogenic!
