Dr. Lisa Chapman
Veterinarian
Dr. Lisa Chapman is originally from Pleasanton, CA, but moved to Davis, CA to attend school at UC Davis. Dr. Chapman graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Animal Science and shortly after began working at Southgate Vet Hospital as a Veterinary Technician. It was not long after, that she became our office manager. In 2009 Dr. Chapman started veterinary school at UC Davis and graduated with her DVM in June 2013. We are thrilled to now have her working as a veterinarian.

Jordan is attending her third year at University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Shoja Sangani
Veterinarian
Dr. Shoja Sangani graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He later bought Southgate Veterinary Hospital in December of 2000. Since then, Dr. Sangani has done many updates and renovations to the hospital and surrounding property. Though Dr. Sangani loves all animals, there are a special few who have stayed near and dear to his heart. The doctor's pets include 6 dogs: Tooshleh, Moogley, Chombe, Ricky, Freckles, and Yolova, 2 cats: Cheesey Poof, Extra, and a few geese, ducks, and chickens.

Nily is attending her first year at University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine

All of our technicians are undergraduate students at University of California, Davis and plan on applying to Veterinary School.
